James Bay Resilience Hub: March 11th Workshop

The James Bay Resilience Hub is bringing neighbours together to build a stronger, more connected community. Put on by Doug Clarke (City of Victoria), the final workshop in the three-part series focuses on looking ahead and planning for what James Bay needs next.

What to Expect

Workshop #3, Highlight Anticipated Needs, will explore emerging challenges and opportunities in James Bay. Participants attending should aim to identify priority issues, discuss gaps in services and supports, and consider practical steps to strengthen neighbourhood resilience. The session builds on earlier work mapping local assets and emergency preparedness, turning ideas into forward-looking action.

Where It’s Happening

March 11 from 6:30–8:00 pm at the James Bay Community Centre (140 Oswego St). The workshop is free and open to all community members.

Why Attend?

Resilient communities are built by neighbours sharing knowledge, experience, and ideas. Whether you’re a long-time resident, new to the area, a volunteer, or simply curious about community-building, your voice helps shape priorities and solutions.
